In short
- We collect only what is needed to run the service.
- We never sell or rent your data, and show no advertising.
- The website and status pages use no tracking cookies.
- You can export or delete your account at any time from your settings.
Data controller

Data we collect
- Account: email address, name, language, time zone, and the identifier provided by Google or GitHub if you sign in with them.
- Configuration: monitors (monitored addresses), alert channels, status pages, team members.
- Check results: availability, response times, errors and, on failure, an excerpt of the monitored service’s response.
- Security: IP address and browser of sign-ins, log of sensitive actions (to detect abuse and handle incidents).
- Status page subscribers: email address, only after the subscriber confirms.
Purposes
- Providing the service: running checks, sending alerts, publishing your status pages.
- Securing accounts and preventing abuse.
- Informing you of important service changes (such as the end of the discovery period).
Retention
- Detailed check results: 30 days; hourly and daily aggregates: according to your plan’s history length.
- Security logs: 12 months.
- Deleted account: erased 30 days after the request is confirmed (cancellation window), unless the law requires otherwise.
Processors
We rely on a small number of providers, only to run the service: server hosting, transactional email delivery, Google or GitHub sign-in if you choose them, and an artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic by default) to explain incidents and draft status messages. It only receives cleaned technical facts (error types, response times, useful headers): never email addresses, passwords or secrets. AI can be turned off in Settings → Team. Cookies
The application uses a session cookie (sign-in) and a language cookie, both required for it to work. The website and public status pages use no cookies (only password-protected pages set an access cookie, once the password is entered). Audience measurement, if enabled, is anonymous and cookieless.
Your rights
Under Quebec’s Law 25, Canada’s PIPEDA and the EU GDPR, you can access, correct and export your data, ask for its deletion or object to processing. Export and account deletion are available directly in Settings → Account. For any other request: contact@moniprobe.com. You may also contact the data protection authority of your country.
Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), secrets encrypted at rest, two-factor authentication available to everyone and mandatory for our staff, audit log of administrative actions.
